Welcome to Untangled Tail! Please note that we are no longer accepting clients who provide less than 24 hours' notice and have not completed payment. Additionally, clients who have not been groomed within the last 8 weeks will unfortunately be unable to book an appointment unless an overdue fee starting at $50 is paid.

Deskunking Policy
Untangled tails charges $40 for a Deskunking treatment. Service is only available to active Untangled clients who’s last groom was less than 8 weeks ago.
Please inform Brenda if the pet has been skunked so Your appointment can be scheduled end of day. Deskunk treatments are only available after the last non skunked client is completed.
Tip:
Please apply cornstarch immediately to the skunk oil while it is still wet to start absorbing the oil.
Skunk oil smell may not come out completely, however, greatly reduced.

Flea Policy
At Untangled Tails to keep all our clients healthy and safe we require that all clients are on a flea preventative
There is a $35 additional charge for one or two fleas that were missed by the owners.
In a situation where the pet is heavily infested with fleas and the owners did not pretreat and notify the groomer at time of appointment owner will be charged based on time and extra product required to clean the facility.
Untangled Tail is committed to keeping a clean and safe environment to do so base price starts at 35$ but can be significantly more to cover the extra time and product.
*In severe cases you will not be able to leave your pet and you will need to pretreat at home. Some clients have severe reactions to even just one flea bite, that can take months to restore skin to normal safety of those clients is my priority .*

Cancellation Policy
To keep cost low at Untangled Tail has a 48 hour Cancelation Policy in placed. You can cancel/ reschedule your appointment by texting (617)389-3153
Brenda will do everything she can to fill your spot. To be able to do so any notice helps.
In times that the appointment can not be filled, Brenda will sadly have to charge.
Price will depend on the amount of time that was blocked out for your appointment.(Ex. Starting at $40 for bath dogs and $80 for haircut dogs.)
Brenda is sorry for the emergency that kept you from making your appointment.
Existing clients over 20 Ibs are still accommodated if they stay under an 8 week schedule.
